A popular local soprano has decided to share her amazing musical talents with a UK audience when she begins a series of recitals in the UK.
Mary Culloty O’Sullivan, who performs around Kerry and beyond, will begin with a recital in St Alphege Church, Birmingham tomorrow (Wednesday), 19 from 1.10-2pm.
She’ll perform at the Unitarian Church, Brighton on Friday, February 21 from 12-12.45pm and is also planning summer recitals in Oxford, Leeds, Glastonbury, London and Dublin.
Mary, who recently performed during Listowel Writers’ Week with Britain’s Got Talent Fr Ray Kelly, the singing priest who has clocking up 72,984,122 views from his online church video. He’s also currently on Dancing With The Stars Ireland.
Mary is heading to pastures new to perform and is really excited to be heading to the UK to sing!
“It’s been a long-time dream of mine to put together a solo series of recitals and perform in the UK, and now the time has come!” Mary said.
“It will be a great experience and I am looking forward to meeting a brand new audience. Some of the performances are at lunchtime and some are evening so hopefully people will make it along!”
Mary is also involved in three fundraising events coming up in Kerry during March and May details of which will be announced shortly.
