Business groups like the Lions Club and the Killarney Chapter of BNI added a different element to the show while volunteering opportunities through groups like the local branch of the Irish Kidney Association were also possible.

“It was a very good day and we were very happy with the turnout,” Lions Club member and organising committee member Ronan Lyons told the Killarney Advertiser.

“Our aim was to bring people and clubs together. I know a lot of the clubs did some networking amongst themselves, many were able to promote what they do and even get new memberships and I am sure there will be a lot of following up done over the next few weeks.”
