It was coffee for counselling in one local hotel last week as local supporters and invited guests gathered in the Killarney Royal Hotel.
With funds raised and a donation made by the Killarney Royal and Hayfield Family Collection, €5,000 was donated to Southwest Counselling Service.
Southwest Counselling Centre, which has been providing affordable counselling services in Kerry since 1994, has a large team of counsellors offering both short and long-term counselling to children, adolescents and adults in Killarney and its surrounds.
“We are absolutely delighted with the turnout in support of Southwest Counselling Service,” event host and Hayfield Family Collection Communications Director, Claire Scally, said.
“This is an extremely important service for those living in Kerry and we are delighted to sponsor this event and assist with their fundraising efforts and support the excellent work that they do.”
