This Sunday (October 28), be afraid and very afraid as a wide array of ghouls, goblins, ghosts, witches, wacky wonders and weirdos descend in strange spooky swarms upon the Killarney Outlet Centre. Is it a zombie takeover? No, it’s the annual Halloween Fancy Dress Parade with fantastic prizes and free fun activities for the whole family!
The lucky winners of the Fancy Dress Parade will receive a Boys Flicker A3 Air Scooter for the Best Dressed Boy and a Girls Flicker A3 Air Scooter for the Best Dressed Girl, both sponsored by World of Wonder. The Best Dressed Family in association with Select Hotels of Ireland will win a fabulous family break in The Twin Trees Hotel, Co. Mayo. (2 nights B&B and 1 Dinner for 2 Adults & 2 Kids under 12 sponsored by Select Hotels and The Twin Trees Hotel).
The Best Dressed Adult will collect a Family Pass for Killarney Ghost Tours.
All entrants are asked to please donate €1 in support of Killarney Rotary Club’s campaign to End Polio Now. Our panel of judges are looking forward to seeing some more fantastic and unusual costumes this year.
Every child will be given a goodie bag, and there’s even a treat in store for parents, as everyone who comes along to the party will receive a voucher from Select Hotels of Ireland offering a free second night’s stay when you book one night away at any Select Hotel nationwide.
We will have bouncy castles with A Time to Party, free Halloween face painting to put the finishing touch to your outfit or get creative at the free Halloween recycled arts and crafts workshops. There will be free children’s entertainment with spooky storytelling sessions and Punch and Judy puppet shows in the Yurt from 2-4pm. Killarney Candle Makers and Clay Fun will also be on hand to help you create a personalised candle or clay design – a small materials charge applies.
