Milltown First Responders Go Live
M
Milltown Community First Responders go live with the National Ambulance Service on June 23. The group aims to respond to 999 within 10 minutes of receiving the call and will be responding to heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking calls. They will cover a 5km radius around Milltown.
With a team of 15 fully trained responders, it is hoped that this vital service will make a difference in the community. If anyone would like to join the team, full training will be provided. Please contact Michelle on 087 9793986.
Milltown Community First Responders have also thanked the Killarney Cardiac Response Unit for all their help over the past year.
