Pick up new skills at FET Fair

Kerry ETB is delighted to announce the 2018 Further Education and Training (FET) Fair which takes place from 11am to 6pm on Thursday, April 19 at The Brandon Hotel, Tralee.
The event is a must for anyone with a passion for learning or an interest in up-skilling. This is ideal for school leavers and mature students, as well as career changers and anyone who wants to pick up a new skill, be it for personal or professional development.
The day will involve over 30 skill demonstrations by staff and students. The public are invited to visit our pop-up restaurant, hair and beauty salon, dog grooming parlour, wind turbine simulator, 3D printer, stonecutting workshop, film, TV and radio production studios, among many more.
Talks on the day will outline PLC as a pre-university foundation year as well as a route to third level, apprenticeship as an ‘earn as you learn’ opportunity, student finance and how to apply for a SUSI Grant.
