Preparations are well and truly under way for an exciting concert in St Brendan’s College that will see legendary multi-instrumentalist Liam O’Connor take to the stage with iconic Aslan frontman Christy Dignam.
The special rendition of the Liam O’Connor Show, which will take place in the college chapel on Thursday April 19, will also feature the St Brendan’s College choir and music group. It promises to be a great evening’s entertainment and, most importantly, it is hoped that vital funds will be raised for the college in the process.
Irish rugby legend Mick Galwey has also been confirmed as a guest speaker and it is sure to be a great experience for the students to meet and listen to such international stars.
Liam is known globally as an ultra talented accordion player and performer and holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest fingers in the world.
Tickets for the show are €30 and can be purchased by calling the box office at 087 2296000 or St Brendan’s College at 064 66 31021.
