Walk in memory of Vivien and Sheila

The Killarney Branch of Kerry Hospice annual fundraising walk in memory of Vivien O’Shea and Sheila McGillycuddy takes place on Good Friday, March 30. Registration is at 10am at Garden Restaurant, Muckross House. The walk commences at 10.30am and there is a choice of two walks:
- From Garden Restaurant via Dinis Cottage and section of Torc Trail and return to Garden Restaurant (8km approx).
- From Garden Restaurant to Brickeen Bridge and return (6km approx).
There is no registration fee but there is a bucket collection on the day. Tickets will be on sale for spot prizes and there will be complementary tea/coffee on return.
“We’re hoping for a nice, dry day,” said PRO Cathal Walshe. “Bring along the family and enjoy a leisurely walk through our lovely National Park while supporting a worthy charity.”
Suitable footwear is advisable in the interests of health and safety, especially along the section of Torc Trail.
