It’s time to spruce up your shamrock
F
Fiona Crowley of the Fiona Crowley Stage School is an active member of the St Patrick’s Festival Committee. She is keeping us up to date with behind the scenes organising of the parade this year.
"It's the season to brush off your shillelaghs and spruce up your shamrock,” she said. “Yes, that’s right! It's that time of year again: St Patrick’s Day is on the way!
“The St Patrick’s Day Festival Committee are in full flight with their preparations for this wonderful day and we’re calling on all the clubs, organisations, groups and teams to put on their best green outfits and join us in the Killarney St Patrick’s Day Parade.”
If you haven't already completed your application form you can snap one up in the Town Hall, the Killarney Advertiser office, or you can email stpatricksfestivalkillarney@gmail.com for more info.
“Let's all get involved again this year,” Fiona added, “and continue to make our Killarney parade the envy of St Patrick himself!"
