Be your own super hero at the Europe Hotel

Karen Dwyer, creator of 'My Gratitude Attitude Journal', will be talking about her inspirational journey at the Hotel Europe Hotel & resort on Sunday, February 11 at 11am.
The author, speaker and entrepreneur hopes to empower participants with the tools and strategies she has learned from her journey through MS and overcoming adversity in business.
During a day of relaxation, empowerment, meditation and delicious food, prepare to walk away from the day feeling energised and ready to take on the world.
This is a day where that gives you the time to discover where you are in life, think about where you want to be, and a pathway to make up the difference.
“We rarely take the time out to think about ourselves, where we are in life, where we want to be and make a plan to fill the gap,” Karen said. “This day allows you to move on from the past and get the motivation to start living the life you really want, removing blocks along the way.”
Karen Dwyer is a 36-year-old single mum who has battled Multiple sclerosis, and suffered the media spotlight of having been airbrushed from her own multi-million-pound company on national television. Karen’s fighting spirit has led her to the amazing creation, and today she is fighting fit and full of gratitude.
At the age of 23, a young, vibrant Karen was responsible for launching the infamous Jimmy Choo brand in Ireland, and she went on to have an immensely successful career in her field.
However, in 2012, Karen was given the horrific diagnosis of having Multiple Sclerosis. For four years she endured hospital stays, medications, and severe medical complications.
In December 2014, Karen took the bold decision, to give up her successful career as a radio sales manager, to concentrate fully on restoring her health and taking control of her body.
For over two years, Karen concentrated on her health and mindset without using medication. Karen believes that by taking accountability and responsibility for her wellbeing, she has discovered some secrets to her now clean bill of health.
Karen has designed programmes and talks on overcoming adversity in all parts of life.
This event offers to others the chance to empower themselves with the tools and the strategies to help overcome adversity no matter what.
A need to inspire others towards and attitude of a positive and healthy mindset has been the driving force in bringing the ‘Be Your Own Super Hero’ event on a tour around Ireland this year.
