THE past couple of weeks have been busy ones for Killarney accessibility campaigner Paudie Healy.
Paudie, the CEO of Universal Access, was an invited speaker in Paris at an ENAT/Paris hosted event, addressing eleven national tourism organisations from different European countries on accessible tourism.
The week after, Paudie took centre stage in Madrid as a speaker at an event hosted by the Spanish government on the city’s launch to become the leading accessible city in Europe for business and leisure tourism under the slogan All Madrid4All. “The two events were very significant and outlined the enormous development being done by both the public and private tourism service providers sector now Internationally on developing their destinations accessible for-all in business and leisure tourism,” said Paudie.
