Dreaming of a white Christmas?
I
IT’S the question on everyone’s lips – what’s the weather going to be like on Christmas Day? It’s been several years since we’ve seen snow at Christmas and for those of you wondering, Met Éireann have released their early Christmas Day weather predictions.
While the indications are it’s going to be a cold one, it doesn’t look like there’s going to be any snow. This week has been mild enough so far and it’s set to remain like that with some showers and fog tomorrow, Friday, with temperatures remaining impressively high at 10 to 12C.
Saturday's weather is predicted to be breezy with mist and drizzle. It’s going to be a dull and windy Christmas Eve with some rain later in the evening with rain forecasted for Christmas Day and temperatures set to dip in the evening and frost expected overnight.
Will we have to wait until next year for a white Christmas?
