THIS afternoon saw Killarney Rotarians unveil details of one of the most exciting events on Munster’s social calendar. The Killarney Rotary Club Evening of Wine & Art takes place in The Malton Hotel on Thursday, November 30, at 7.30pm.

Killarney Rotary Club president Eduard Schmidt-Zorner said: “It is always a joyful evening where you meet new and old friends, and whilst enjoying the evening know you are supporting the local charities and community projects benefiting from the evening.”

Killarney Rotary Club appreciates the support given by the sponsors, Daly’s Supervalu and Killarney Breweries. “Thank you to the patrons who attend. We also look forward to welcoming back the artists and craft people every year and it is always nice to meet new artists,” added Eduard.

“If you haven’t registered yet please do so as soon as possible. Space is limited so it is important that you contact killarneyrotaryclub@gmail.com to arrange your registration or send a message through the Killarney Rotary Club Facebook page.”

The usual wine and cheese tasting opportunities will appeal to all.

Meanwhile the charities and organisations involved will have stands and advertise their projects and sell products, while the raffle is always hotly anticipated. “Killarney Rotary will also provide an information stand for those who want to learn more about Rotary or may be interested in becoming a member,” added Eduard.

“Rotary is an organisation which combines the commitment of their members following the Rotary motto: ‘Service above self’, fun and joy for all visitors.”
