New weather warning issued

AS THE clean-up continues after Storm Ophelia battered Ireland on Monday, a fresh weather warning has been issued.
Storm Brian could hamper efforts to restore power to 119,000 customers and water to 48,000, ESB revealed.
The Status Yellow warning is in place for Munster, Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow and Meath from midnight on Wednesday until midnight on Thursday.
Met Éireann has warned that heavy rain is expected, with accumulations between 30 and 50 mm possible.
Starting on Friday, winds and rain are expected to pick up again, with the weekend looking like a washout.
