Picture-perfect opportunity to tee up to help a deserving cause
I
IT’S always a red-letter date on golfers’ calendars in Kerry and the annual golf classic fundraiser for St Mary of the Angels and St John of God Kerry Services takes place on Friday, August 11.
Participants will tee up on scenic Mahony’s Point, Killarney Golf Club, for an event that contributes towards improving the quality of service for users, said a spokeswoman for the organisers. “Our services across Kerry now support over 300 adults and children in 34 locations,” she added. “We provide services in Beaufort, Tralee, Killarney, Kenmare, Caherciveen, Killorglin, Dingle, Castleisland and Listowel. All monies raised are for the services in Kerry and utilised for service users’ benefit. All support is greatly appreciated through teams, sponsorship of prizes or tee boxes.”
Entry is €200 per team and the timesheet is open; contact Helen on 087-1338702.
