Martin O’Neill backs Celtic ahead of FAI Junior Cup semi-final

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND manager Martin O’Neill has expressed his admiration for Killarney Celtic ahead of their historic FAI Junior Cup semi-final against Sheriff YC.
Speaking in a video posted to the club’s Facebook page, O’Neill praised Celtic for getting so far in Ireland’s showpiece competition. “I think that Killarney Celtic have done absolutely fantastically in getting to the semi-final of the FAI Junior Cup,” the former Leicester City, Glasgow Celtic and Aston Villa boss said.
“I obviously wish you all the very, very best.”
The video is the latest in a series featuring Celtic supporters from all over the world offering encouragement to the players in the run up to the big game.
Ex-players, fans, family and friends from the UK, Chicago, New Mexico, California and Australia have already sent in videos as the club gears up for the most important match in its history.
The fixture will be played in Mastergeeha’s Kilbrean Park on Saturday, April 8, at 5pm.
