Status Orange wind warning for Kerry tonight

MET ÉIREANN has issued a Status Orange wind warning for counties including Kerry which comes into effect at midnight tonight.
Southwest winds veering westerly will increase 65 to 80 km/h overnight and will gust 110 to 130 km/h at times.
The weather warning will be in place until 9am on Friday.
Kerry County Council is advising people to exercise care on the roads overnight and tomorrow morning and is urging property owners to take the necessary precautions in anticipation of high winds.
Council personnel are monitoring the situation.
