Wall collapses at popular riverbank walk in Killarney
A
A WALL bounding the Deenagh River and Port Road in Killarney partially collapsed into the river at the weekend.
The wall, opposite St Mary's Cathedral, Killarney, lines a route which is very popular with walkers and stretches along the riverbank for one kilometre. The damage will now be assessed by Kerry County Council. “We are waiting for a specialist contractor to inspect it and advise on the appropriate remediation measure,” stated Kerry County Council.
