Putting their best foot forward for Operation Transformation walk
K
KILLARNEY hosted a very successful Operation Transformation walk this morning. The event, which started at Muckross Traditional Farms at 9.30am, was one of three walks held in the county in association with the popular RTE television series.
The Kerry walks were staged as part of national Operation Transformation walk day.
“January is a special time of year, which is infused with magic, loaded with new possibilities and ripe with potential pathways to explore and engage in healthier lifestyle options,” said Córa Carrig, co-ordinator, Kerry Recreation and Sports Partnership, which organised the Killarney walk with Parkrun.
“It’s all about creating a gap in one’s schedule to make physical activity happen and be a part of our lives."
Photographer Dylan Clifford captured the action at the event.
