Standing ovation for outgoing Killarney Chamber president Kate

OUTGOING Killarney Chamber of Tourism & Commerce president Kate O’Leary received a standing ovation when she addressed the annual general meeting of the Chamber.
The event, on Thursday night, was her final meeting as Chamber president and was the Chamber’s last meeting of the year.
Incoming Killarney Chamber of Tourism & Commerce president Paul O’Neill presented Kate with a beautifully framed display of photographs from her two-year term as president.
The AGM was followed by a business meeting during which guest speakers included architect David Mosca and Paul O’Neill who outlined plans for the enhancement of the town.
Killarney Municipal area manager Angela McAllen made a presentation also while Kerry Convention Bureau chairperson Mike Buckley gave a talk on the bureau’s achievements and targets.
