DRUGS RECOVERED IN TARGETED CHRISTMAS OPERATION

KILLARNEY GARDAÍ have confirmed that a number of addresses were searched in the town in the days leading up to Christmas as part of an operation targeting the illegal drugs trade.
It is understood that five properties were searched and cannabis with an approximate street value of €2000 was seized. It is also understood that a specialist drugs dog was utilised by the Gardaí during this operation.
“A number of people will face prosecutions arising from this operation and these targeted operations will continue in 2016,” said Killarney Superintendent Flor Murphy.
