Murphy’s Bar darts tournament is right on target
T
THE semi-finals and final of the Mullins Cup were played at Murphy’s Bar on Monday.
In the first semi-final Laura Keane, Dublin, overcame Breda Kelliher, Glenflesk, and in the second semi-final Helen O’Neill, Tyrone, beat Marie Leahy, Tralee.
“The final was a top-class game,” according to a spokesperson for Murphy’s Bar. “Laura retained her title without losing a leg in any of her games. It is the first time a four in a row has been won in any of our tournaments – a new record for Murphy’s darts.
“Overall the standard was very high and we look forward to seeing all you ladies again next year. Watch out for Laura Keane!”
