Donie Courtney to stage Hugh O’Flaherty play in November

AS PART of the upcoming 2016 Hugh O'Flaherty Memorial Weekend, Killarney's own Donie Courtney returns to the INEC Acoustic Club with his one-man play "God Has No Country".
Based on the daring humanitarian exploits of Monsignor Hugh O'Flaherty in Nazi-occupied Rome during World War Two, the demand for this play is growing with performances scheduled in early November for Dublin and in the spring of 2017 for New York and Philadelphia.
The Killarney performance will be in the INEC Acoustic Club on Sunday evening, November 6, at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm. Tickets are €10 and can be booked at the INEC box office, 064-6671555.
