Tiernaboul School says ‘thank you’

The students and staff of Tiernaboul National School wish to thank most sincerely everyone who supported their festive day held in Spa GAA last Friday.
Fr. Kieran O'Brien celebrated a special mass for the whole school community, then the students under the direction of their Music Generation tutor Sorcha O'Connor performed a number of festive songs.
A cake sale, with tea and coffee for all attendees and a monster Christmas raffle rounded off the day. A thoroughly fun and festive day was enjoyed by all.
“The school is most grateful to all the families who supplied beautiful home baking and to all the families and businesses from all around the town who donated wonderful prizes for the raffle,” said Principal Maria Breen.
“I express my gratitude to all the supporters of the school who helped out in so many ways in the lead up to and on the day. All at Tiernaboul National School would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a bright and peaceful New Year.”
