Legion launches Gaelic4girls initiative

Killarney Legion is the only club in Kerry running a Gaelic4girls initiative this year.
This programme, led by the LGFA, is designed for young girls interested in trying Gaelic Football for the first time or returning to the sport.
Starting on Saturday, March 15, the eight-week programme will take place every Saturday from 10-11 am at the club grounds in Direen.
Kerry football star Siofra O’Shea is a Gaelic4Girls ambassador and will be on hand to support the participants.
The cost is €12, which includes a Gaelic4Girls t-shirt.
