104 Coolick School pupils climb Torc Mountain

Pupils from Coolick National School enjoyed a school tour with a difference this week.
Pupils from Junior Infants to Sixth Class – all 104 of them - climbed the Torc Mountain.
“They were thrilled to reach the top and enjoy the great views. The older pupils helped lead the younger pupils on the day. We had plenty of stops for picnics along the way,” said Principa, Gearóid O Sullivan
“As a school we love to do as many outdoor activities as possible and our trip up Torc Mountain was part of our Active Schools Week.”
